Bringing together Greater Katy Famlies and organizations

A coalition dedicated to ensuring strong schools, responsible civil leadership, and traditional family-centered values.

Parents holding hands with three children carrying backpacks walking to elementary school entrance
An orderly bulletin board mounted on a neutral-toned office wall, densely covered with neatly pinned school board agendas, community meeting notices, voter registration deadlines, and color-coded index cards summarizing key parental rights. Small arrows and string connections link related items, forming a clear visual network of civic information. Soft overhead office lighting blends with diffused window light, creating a bright, readable photographic realism without harsh contrast. Shot straight on at eye level with sharp focus across the entire board, the composition feels structured and informative. The atmosphere is professional and proactive, suggesting organized local involvement and awareness, while the absence of people keeps the focus entirely on the information and civic processes.

Purpose

The Family First Coalition exists to strengthen communication within our community by promoting and supporting policies, leaders, and initiatives that prioritize the role of family in education, civic life, and culture. We work to engage, inform, and mobilize families and groups across greater Katy and Fulshear to ensure that local schools and government reflect the values that have long supported strong communities—responsibility, respect, and parental involvement. We are a non-partisan 501(c)4 working to unite multiple like-minded groups to ensure a great future for our children and community.
